The Archote Family makes sustainably produced functional art in Leslie, AR. Their business (Eleazar Woodworks) has been family owned and operated since 1985. It was founded by Brad Archote, a rural homesteader. Struggling to raise a family on a sustainable farm in rural Arkansas, he mastered his woodworking skills and the family business was born. His love for food and cooking led to handmade wooden utensils being a natural fit. Brad’s children were raised around the wood shop and today the business is operated by the second generation, with Jordan Archote leading the way. We love working with Jordan. The third generation is being raised in the same tradition. It’s a great American family story.
