Stitching entered Jessica's life after the birth of her son as she was looking for a way to slow down, connect with her hands and reduce anxiety. She always found peace through art but found that the slow, meditative and tactile experience of using a needle and thread to create beauty was especially satisfying. Plus, tossing a hoop and thread in the diaper bag for some stitching at the park proved easier than packing an easel and oil paints. Jessica enjoys teaching and her goal is for her students to find the same joy and relaxation that she finds when she creates art through hand embroidery. It's great to be working with you Jessica!
I’m always a little skeptical, buying anything off of Facebook, but this little mahogany pin is really really beautiful. Used it for the first time this morning and it rolled well, cleaned easy and it’s now one of my most favorite kitchen pieces that I have. Well done!
