This handmade Artisan Long Garden Dibble is a piece of functional art. It's a beautiful, heirloom quality item that's hand hand carved by an Artisan woodworker in the lovely hamlet of Hemlock, NY, population 556.
What's a Dibble? A Dibble is a pointed wooden stick that's traditionally used for making holes in the ground for planting seedlings, bulbs or seeds. It was first recorded to be used in Roman times and remains mostly unchanged in design today.
Did we say this Dibble is long? It's a full 28" that's long enough to poke your seed and seedling holes while standing.
Made from sustainably harvested cherry hardwood.

This is a well crafted classic scoop that I’m happy to add to my kitchen collection. I feel like it will last years. I applied a cutting board oil to the walnut handle and it looks great.
