Founder Jim Kalbfleisch started JBK Pottery in 1979 due to his passion for making pottery. Competition from imports has driven innovation and changes in product mix at JBK. Through the years, JBK has produced many innovative products ranging from ceramic armor, ceramic wear parts for the major resource industries, and more recently, many decorative and functional kitchen and gift items.
