This handmade Fiddle Bow Bread Knife is a piece of functional art. It's a beautiful, heirloom quality item that's hand carved by an Artisan woodworker in the lovely hamlet of Hemlock, NY, population 556.
Helps cut even slices. The sharp Stainless Steel serrated blade won't crush soft bread and easily cuts through even the toughest crusty loaves.
Slice bread thin for a low carb diet.

This Fiddle Bow Bread Knife is available with Black Walnut (Dark) and Cherry (Medium) hardwood handles.
Handle treated only with natural beeswax.
Hand wash only please. Use only mineral oil to keep the handle looking it's best.
Due to the nature of each item being individually handmade, slight variations will occur with wood grain and appearance from those pictured. Each one is beautiful and unique.
Caution: blade is sharp, use carefully or injury may occur.

The knife works very, very well. So glad to have a way to cut bread without damaging the loaf. The fit and finish is lacking though. The wood has many loose fibers and is rough to the touch. It could've used some additional sanding. Also, the screws used were countersunk not pan head as shown in the pictures. I think pan head screws would look better, but I'm sure there's not any functional difference between them. I'd recommend the knife, but provide the caveats first.
