This Hardwood Biscuit and Cookie Cutter has a deep smooth bowl that's angled slightly with an air hole near the top of the bowl. Your biscuits and cookies will slide right out!
The maker says: "At my house, biscuits were an everyday thing when I was a kid. And, of course, my mother used my grandma's old, decidedly-worn biscuit cutter. That's what people in the South often do. That being said, when she got her hands on one of these handmade suckers (hers is walnut), she retired my grandma's to a place of honor and has made thousands more biscuits with one of our handmade wooden pieces."
Comes in Black Walnut (Dark) and Cherry (Light).

It’s excellent and exactly what I expected. And for personal preference the screw that connects the handle to the base it would be better if it was covered or sealed some how imho. for cleaning purposes. Such as a dab of epoxy but a small toothbrush will work to clean it

Lovely spoons. I bought one for each of my daughters and for myself. Absolutely love them! Very thirsty though, definitely would recommend plenty of food safe wood oil to go with it if you give as a gift.

Your biscuit cutter is beautiful but perhaps misnamed. Dough torn off and formed by hand. At least we two 65 to 70 year old Texans have always know that to be the definition.
