Pretty little weeds.

Mary Elizabeth says of this painting:

"These pretty little weeds grow outside of my studio. The friendly yellow flowers looked so pretty in the sunlight, I couldn't resist sitting right next to them and painting. I created this piece with pen and alcohol inks. The more I work with inks, the more I enjoy creating paintings by taking elements away. Quite a different direction from my oil painting days! I often spend the majority of my time "erasing" the colors I laid down before, particularly with backgrounds. I guess living life is like that. Sometimes you need a lot to make it through the day, and sometimes less is best."

Mary Elizabeth finds her happy place creating birds, trees and other works. She hopes you can see a happy version of yourself in her work as well.

Bird Wine Glasses

Got wine glasses as a gift a few years ago and I loved them! Unfortunately 3 of the 4 broke over time. Will you be making them again. I like the tall glasses but I have enough of them.
