This is a drawing of a 1929 Indian Motorcycle which was known as the 101 Scout model. Produced from 1928-1931, it has been called the best Indian motorcycle ever made. Noted for its handling, it was popular among racers, hill climbers and trick riders. It was expensive to produce and had a small profit margin, so the economic hardship of the Great Depression forced Indian to discontinue the 101 Scout.
