They were designed to neatly hold your spoons, spatulas, whisks or ladles as you create your favorite recipes. They are durable enough to stand up to everyday use and dishwasher safe.
These Pottery Spoon Rests are glazed and fired to over 2200 degrees F.

Barbarah Roberston is a wonderful potter and "Juried Artisan" of the Artisans Center of Virginia. Each Juried Artisan has gone through a rigorous standards review and is recognized for the high quality of their work. She does an unbelievable job of creating consistency in her work while still allowing the individuality of each piece to shine through. Barbarah was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia and is a Shenandoah Valley transplant. A full time potter, Barbarah says "I enjoy the incorporation of natural materials and themes in my work, but keep my focus on functionality." We are so happy to be working with Barbarah. Look for more of Barbarah's items to be added to the site in the near future.

I ordered this spoon rest for myself, and also sent one to my son. I’m so impressed with the beauty of this spoon rest; reminiscent of a labyrinth. The glaze is smooth and it enhances the colors in the spoon rest. I also appreciate the size of the spoon rest: big enough to hold a soup ladle or large mixing spoon. I would definitely purchase from this shop again.
