This handmade Artisan Hardwood Vegetable Peeler is a piece of functional art. It's a beautiful, heirloom quality item that's hand carved by an Artisan woodworker in the lovely hamlet of Hemlock, NY, population 556.
The ceramic blade on this peeler is super sharp, allowing you to peel through tough skins with minimal effort. The ceramic blades stay sharp after multiple uses so you to have perfectly peeled ingredients every time.
Heirloom quality to pass down for generations.
Available in Black Walnut (Dark) and Cherry (Medium) hardwoods.
Treated only with natural beeswax.

The knife works very, very well. So glad to have a way to cut bread without damaging the loaf. The fit and finish is lacking though. The wood has many loose fibers and is rough to the touch. It could've used some additional sanding. Also, the screws used were countersunk not pan head as shown in the pictures. I think pan head screws would look better, but I'm sure there's not any functional difference between them. I'd recommend the knife, but provide the caveats first.
